Become a Precinct Captain

Organizing a complete and thorough grassroots network that spans across the commonwealth is essential to the success of the campaign. To do this, volunteer leaders from all corners of Massachusetts must step into the role of Precinct Captain.

A Precinct Captain serves as a volunteer organizer for their neighborhood, acting as a liason between the campaign and their local network of volunteers.

Precinct Captains will help organize their neighborhood 12x12 Club members, Citizen Co-Chairs, and other Khazei Volunteers into a successful grassroots operation.

Some items Precinct Captains will be responsible for will be:
  • Build and manage your neighborhood organization.
  • Maintain regular contact between the campaign, and your local network.
  • Participate in local events as a surrogate for Alan.
  • Design and execute a winning Caucus strategy.
  • Run a neighborhood Get Out the Vote operation on the primary and general election day.
The campaign will work with you, providing all the necessary information and resources you will need to build a winning operation. Trainings will be held throughout the summer, to ensure every Precinct Captain is fully up to speed, and knows everything they need to execute at the highest level.

Each Precinct Captain will serve a vital and essential role in sending Alan to the U.S. Senate.
